"Our family's first Soft Touch Dental appointment was excellent. They were very calm, friendly and reassuring. Every part of the visit was explained well. There was very little wait time today. Everything is very clean and organized. They communicated well with each other as each person did their job. They were thorough and gentle. It was definitely one of the best dental care experiences I have ever had. They have great appointment availability. My family feels very safe and welcome there. They are a highly qualified, diverse office. Superb!"

"I’ve always loved going to the dentist until I started receiving care here. I’ve had a few cavities filled here, and each time I wasn’t fully numb before they got started. I asked for more anesthetic and was scoffed at by the dentist himself, I assume because I was taking up more time? It’s a year later and my fillings are still sensitive to cold and heat. To make matters worse, I have severely infected wisdom teeth on the opposite side and had to go to an emergency dental out of pocket who suggested I need to get all wisdom teeth out ASAP. When I went to soft touch later in the week and told them what the ED said, he looked in my mouth for maybe 2 mins and told me I need to come back for an extraction consult with a different dentist. When I tried to schedule that, I was told that I had a no show (for an appt I hadn't received any reminders for after double checking) and that I’m no longer allowed to schedule appointments in advance, and that I’ll instead just have to call the office in the mornings until there’s a cancellation for the dentist who does extractions. I’ve been on OHP in different areas of Oregon nearly my whole life and have never had a dentist as incompetent and uncaring as this one. They are quick for a reason."

"Literally the absolute worst dental office I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. ODS should be ashamed to send people here. The front staff is utterly terrible; unprofessional, bitter and hostile. I would never step foot in this office again. After coming in for an infected tooth, I was barely even seen by the dentist before given a prescription for amoxicillin and shoved out the door. Two days later, I was back with a nastier infection and given another prescription and shoved out the door again. I was told I would have to wait SIX WEEKS for an extraction. Complete nonsense and the staff has no sense of decency, politeness or manners."

"I have never had a bad experience with a dentist till I became a patient at soft touch dental, my most recent experience was very traumatic as I had to get my wisdom tooth extracted, I could not keep myself from crying during this procedure due to smelling and hearing everything going on during my extraction. The doctor proceeded to stop mid procedure to tell me to stop crying, i tried to keep myself together till the end of the procedure. While I was leaving after my procedure was done I proceeded to spit out chunks of my own broken teeth along with string from the stitching in my mouth. I will not be going back to this dentist after that procedure due to the lack of care they have for their patients."

"These folks did two crowns for me that I had to pay out of pocket for. They said they take my insurance and if I have any issues after the crowns are put in that they’ll handle it. Two years later my crowns are STILL hurting and another dentist said they’re likely not sealed properly. I tried to handle this with soft touch and they refuse to see me unless I pay out of pocket. They won’t refund me. They won’t work with me. Nothing. Just took my money, did shoddy work, then wrote me off. DO NOT GO HERE. They are SCAMMING poor folks out of their money. I am disabled and on fixed income and Medicare/OHP. There’s no reason for them not to cover the work. Absolutely appalling behavior."
