Fort Supply Historic Site Guardhouse
● OpenThe Fort Supply Historic Site Guardhouse, located in Fort Supply, Oklahoma, is a museum featuring five original buildings and a replica of the 1868 stockade. The site includes rare examples of frontier construction methods, such as picket-style log buildings and frame houses. The guardhouse, built in 1892, is the only brick building erected by the army at Fort Supply and now houses an exhibit area with artifacts, photographs, and graphics. Managed by the Friends of Historic Fort Supply and affiliated with the Oklahoma Historical Society, the site offers a glimpse into the military presence in the area from 1868 to 1894. Currently closed for repairs and improvements, the property will reopen soon in partnership with the Friends of Historic Fort Supply.
