Northern Light Lodge
Northern Light Lodge, located at 119 West Wayne Street in Maumee, Ohio, has a rich history dating back to its origins as Freemason Lodge #24 in 1813 at Fort Meigs. After being discontinued following the war of 1812, a new lodge was petitioned and received a new charter in 1818. The current lodge still resides at the original location, serving as a proud Masonic community in Northwest Ohio. Known as the "Mother Lodge" due to its influence on many other Masonic lodges in the region, Northern Light Lodge #40 merged with Calumet Lodge #612 in 1997 and Sanford L. Collins Lodge #396 in 1995. The institution is also home to Royal Arch Chapter, Grotto, Eastern Stars, and Cryptic Council.
