The farm includes a farmhouse with period furnishings, a historic barn, a granary, machine shed, barnyard, demonstration crop fields, vegetable garden, orchard, and pond. Visitors can interact with costumed interpreters as they go about their daily chores, such as plowing fields, tending the garden, and cooking on a wood-burning stove. The farm was purchased in 2003 with funds from the CleanOhio Fund and offers a variety of programs and special events throughout the year. Visitors can learn about preserving produce, making sausage, preparing the garden for planting, and cooking on a wood stove. Special events include Maple Syrup Time, an Antique Tractor Show, Music under the Paper Moon, and Winter Evening on the Farm.
