"I never had faith in a gynecologist until I met Dr . Sullivan! I have had two kids. While I appreciated and trusted the doctors that birthed my kids, there came a time when I needed a doctor that wasn’t needed for pregnancy. I used my obgyn that delivered my last child. But they weren’t listening to me! I went through a couple and had bad experiences. Finally I met Dr. Sullivan! He was funny and relaxing and he actually listened to my problems! He based his treatment on what I was comfortable with! I am forever blessed to have a man that is so in-tuned to my female issues!"

"I could not have been more disappointed with my experience. I am a young woman in my 30s and have a family history of gynecological cancer (including immediate family members). I have been battling mysterious gastrointestinal/gynecological symptoms for 2 years now. After visiting many specialists - none of whom were able to reach a diagnosis - I was recommended to see another gynecologist for a second opinion. I stayed within the Trihealth Womens Comprehensive OBGYN practice because I've been with them for decades. Unfortunately, my primary OBGYN has left the practice so I was assigned to Dr. Sullivan. I went through my entire diagnostic history (the other specialists I've seen, detailed descriptions of my symptoms including pictures and tracking the symptoms to my cycle), and his first reaction was "well if it's your uterus, why don't you just get it removed?" The only other option he could offer was more birth control (I've tried several kinds that never worked). I humored him and tried birth control again - my symptoms worsened. He opted for an investigated laproscopy which I wouldn't be able to get for 5 months. In the meantime, I'm sending messages with images of the issues I'm having and living in constant pain and discomfort. My messages go unreturned for several days at a time, and when a message was finally returned, he responded by recommending I see a GI doctor - which he knew very well I had seen two already if he listened at all in our conversation or reviewed my diagnostic history. He is careless, ambivalent, absent, and takes the "easy" way out by recommending a full hysterectomy - without the diligence of identifying the root cause. I will be leaving this practice, but as an activist in the gynecological cancer community, I had to share my experience. ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELVES, LADIES. This is subpar women's care, in a time when so many gynecological cancers are diagnosed at late stages far too often."
