"I wouldn't even give this company a one star. This life insurance company is the worst, unorganized, ignorant people to deal with and so unprofessional. I am a Costco member and this is how i came across this company. I call Protective Insurance to get their prices, which it seem very affordable compare to other Life Insurance. I already have life Insurance with MetLife for million coverage for 30 years term and i knew what the procedure. ( Metlife took 4 weeks with all information i provided ) Protective Med Examiner came out and was the norm, but she was lazy to do the form and left it with me and i had to fill it out to fax it over. This been going on 4 month and every month the Insurance company call me and need additional information, which i provide it to them so many time. Mean while my wife also apply for live insurance for million dollar coverage. Now my wife is DEAF and working professional hold a Master degree. The Protective insurance call me up want to know why a Million coverage for her? But them are not concern the Million dollar coverage on me. Also they ask me why should she have Million dollar coverage for a stay at home mom ( What? Who said she a stay at home mom?) They also want to know is she on SSI on disability ( why would the life insurance think she have a SSI or SSD?) The life insurance didn't ask me if i was on the SSD or SSI consider i also Hard of Hearing. They also approve her but not for million dollar, only 500k and the rate was double ( they quote her $76 for million dollar) I ask why not million dollar coverage and they said they dont like how we were structure with the application ( what the hell are they talking about?) Why don't they just said the Deaf person isn't worthy or they don't want take a chance on her as a million dollar coverage. Also again i still hadn't hear back from them yet regard to my application. Oh by the way, did i mention i have million dollar coverage and so my wife too with other live insurance company? Even they are half of the cost to other company and why would anyone take a chance this company who can't even process application, their rep service as 3 or 4 different people call me same time as they need information from me and i was like i already gave this to other rep as 4th time, which going on for 4th month already, People listen, time is money and tomorrow isn't guarantee. One day you never know what happen. This a joke"
