    Dayton View Historic District

    The Dayton View Historic District, located in Dayton, Ohio, United States, is a unique and diverse collection of architectural styles dating back to the late 1880s to the 1920s. Bounded roughly by Harvard, Salem, Superior, and Broadway in North West Dayton, this district is home to the 1999 Rehabarama event. The development of Dayton View was greatly influenced by the construction of a bridge across the Miami River. Pioneers with foresight played a crucial role in shaping the district into what it is today. The first charter for a bridge across any stream in Dayton was obtained in 1814, but it was not until 1817 that the bridge was finally built by the county.
