Applebee's Grill + Bar

"We frequent this restaurant often. We by far receive the best service from Sara. She's an absolute sweetheart each time we're there. I've told my friends to request her and they love her too. We have her work schedule down and only come when we know she's working. We have excellent service every time we are there which is at least once weekly. We love the 1/2 price appetizers too. Our friends come from Elyria to have Sara. This Applebee's needs to appreciate the gem they have with Sara."

"We love the half price apps after 9. Not a huge fan of the riblets as they are too boney. But still a great place for a late night get together with friends to catch up."

"We had ordered well done steak and came back 3 times still rare. We no longer wanted the steak because of time constraints and after the waiter took longer to give us our bill. Our waiter Jessyca K gave us horrible service and the whole experience was awful."

"We were waited on by Steven today 9/12 3:00-3:30 , he was busy but steady, gave each individual table a great attitude, fast service, checked on us frequently and was funny and very kind. He was so very professional and courteous the whole time we were there and met quickly everything we asked for. No one at any of the 5 tables lacked service. The food was brought out hot and fast. Very attentive the whole time. I haven’t had that great of service in a long time. I will come back when he is working. I wish Steven the best - what a terrific employee, Applebees is lucky!"

"Bar was wiped down with a sticky rag, a constant occurrence, other than that the bartender are usually very attentive and efficient. I've had an employee reach over the bar two inches next to to me to put away dirty glasses as I was trying to eat when the bar was empty and could have walked around the bar in the same distance. Heard servers complaining about customers and how they can talk to them any way they want "because I'll never get fired". They use of the N-word is also inexcusable. Steak temperatures are always inconsistent. #1. Order medium got well done. #2 order medium got well done. #3 ordered medium rare got rare(blue) #4 ordered medium got mid rare on one side/rare on other side due to uneven flip. Always tip 20%+ only told the manager once that the steak was undercooked with a response of we can throw it back on the grill (after 15 minutes of eating the edges of the steak and all the sides. Not the solution) I even ordered an appetizer because I was still hungry. No comp, no apology, no "I'll let the kitchen know", just walked away. Last time I just ate the cooked edges of the steak and took home the rest microwave unfortunately."
