Comfort Inn & Suites Maumee - Toledo (I80-90)

"The rooms were very clean and so was the pool. The breakfast area was kept clean and they had a great selection. However, if you’re traveling with kids or just want a room for the weekend for the kids to swim this is not the place. Because I have four children they thought I was going to get TWO rooms (which I was not going to split my family for one extra person over the limit when my 2&4 year old sleep with mom and dad) the lady was accommodating and very very nice! The lady who checked us in was very kind! When we went to the pool the men working behind the desk was very nosy and he also made the comment “we like when people come in, stay quiet and leave. We do not like people lodging and thinking this is a place for fun or parties and being loud” which kind of made me feel uncomfortable like my kids were being “too loud in the pool area” when I checked in and they realized I had multiple kids they put us in the very first room right next to the front desk and I just felt like I was being babysat. If it was just my boyfriend and I , I would say the hotel was fine. I just do not recommend to come here if you have children that want to play. They made it very clear if they felt you’re being too noisy or not up to their standards they will keep your deposit and kick you out without a reason. (Which I paid a $200 deposit) we are getting ready to check out this morning and I can say if I am bringing my children this will not be a hotel we will stay at again."

"I stay here about 8 times per year and no matter what time I check-in, I can count on the room being ready and the bed being comfortable. As a woman traveling alone safety is important to me and I always feel safe when I stay here."

"Visiting the area with my daughter & meeting up with her father who lives in Toledo. This hotel I booked primarily because it has a pool. I knew nothing about Maumee but what a very relaxing & pleasant stay! Hotel IS CLEAN! Breakfast is pretty good! Laura & Thelma are so sweet! The pool was fun. Will be staying again. I noticed the aroma in the hotel was so nice!! Some hotels you stay in smell like pets or cigarettes etc..the COMFORT INN & Suites I will always make sure to give you my business when in the area! We appreciate the peaceful stay! Very quiet area because the hotel is surrounded by hotels & this one is behind the Honda dealership off Dussel Rd."

"We needed a place to stay during a road trip and picked here due to its location and because all other hotels were full. When I checked in I asked for a room further away from other people because my special needs son was was having an issue and I didn't want him to disrupt other people. But the lady informed me they were almost full and I had a room on the first floor, first one in the hallway. The lady at the front that had a (possibly) Jamaican accent was very kind. She assured me that it would be ok and there were a lot of kids staying there and sympathized with me as a mother. I was also afraid we would hear everything seeing where pur room was. We didn't. The room was actually really quiet and we didn't hear hardly anyone. The room was clean, the lobby and pool area as well. The pool water was a bit chilly and very loud due to the echoes of kids screaming but not a big deal. Breakfast was good, not too crowded at 7 or 8am and the lady managing it stayed on her toes and was polite as well. This is an older hotel but overall it's a good place to stay. Side note, I thought this place had a hot tub because it was in their pictures somewhere but they don't. Not an issue either."

"Front desk attendant at check in was very nice. Our room was clean and well stocked with towels. Pool was very clean! Breakfast in the morning was adequate with basics like waffles, eggs and sausage. Overall, very great hotel for the value!"
