“Rashad is a extremely professional no nonsense therapist who cuts straight to the point. His extensive knowledge of anxiety is unparalleled in comparison to anyone else I have spoke to about it. When I first spoke to him I was suffering from a wide variety of symptoms that I never thought could be related to anxiety. I could not work and hardly leave the house without being in pain. Doctors spent ages trying to figure out what was wrong with me and I had a huge amount on intrusive tests and numerous medications. With Rashad's help and guidance I have returned to work with a new outlook on life and what I thought was unachievable is now within grasp and I find myself questioning what is next constantly. It has literally given me my life back and with routine self check sessions I can now remind myself that the world is once again my oyster. What I really liked about Rashad the most is that he would cater my sessions into a very personal experiences. He would reference my line of work and explaining things in recipe or general kitchen terms (I'm a chef) which was not only very helpful but gave me clear understanding of how to tackle my issues. 100% recommend to anyone who is suffering from anxiety issues.”

“On recommendation from a physiotherapist I contacted Sally at The Treatment Room last year for sports massage treatment in the hope it would help ease frequent migraine headaches and neck/shoulder pain. He always gave good advise and posted exercises for me to do at home which helped immensley. What I saw of the Long Eaton Impact Physiotherapy place the therapists who work there were well equipped and trained to deal with any of your problems to re habilitate.”

“I had ACL reconstruction surgery in January 2020, however because of lockdown I wasn’t able to continue with physio at the hospital (where the surgery took place) I second guessed my own rehab and was able to return to football approx 11 months later and things were progressing ok. Over the last couple of months my knee started to swell and I became a little worried that I had I damaged the knee again. I decided to get a professional opinion so booked in with Peak Well-being. I saw Mike. From the start of the consultation he listened and understood my anxiety. He took me through the stages of ACL repair and he explained the trauma that the knee would have been through. He examined the area and again explained everything he was doing. Following the examination he explained what I needed to do and he gave me three exercises to do. He was satisfied that I didn’t need a follow up appointment. It was the best £48 I have spent and I would throughly recommend this physio. I feel confident that my knee and muscle areas just need strengthening and I feel confident that I can continue what I love doing which is exercise and sport! A big thank you.”

“I discovered this awesome club about 3 years ago. I was grieving the loss of my wife and brother who had both died recently. I didn't know what to do with myself so I spontaneously joined up. I was made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the mindfulness sessions and have since spent many hours floating around taking photos. The club is well run with a real emphasis on staying safe. I feel safe to laugh, shout, be quiet or cry there. There is a real community feel and absolutely no judgement whatever your swimming ability or body shape. A friend recently told me that since spending time at the lake I appear happier, more relaxed and positive. The club has evolved now offering full moon swims and saunas and there is the fantastic Wired on Wheels offering great coffee and snacks post dip.”

“Body Sparkle is a lovely, clean, relaxing salon with treatments performed by Marie. Marie is fantastic at what she does, very professional and easy to talk to if you feel a little nervous or uneasy. I had fat reduction injections and was quite anxious as I'm not a fan of needles and also wasn't sure of the procedure. Marie explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. She has an excellent aftercare service as well and is in touch with you after your treatment to answer any questions.”
