“A traditional pub with lots of nooks and crannies to sit in. Was busy when we called in as England were on TV playing football ⚽. Not my scene so we enjoyed our drinks away from the main room. Menu looked good but we didn't choose food. Bar staff were friendly too. Good car park at the back. Also nice garden area at the rear of the pub, lovely on a summer evening.”

“Fabulous Boxing Day Family Meal and awesome service! The festive menu was beautiful and the gluten free menu was amazing. Such friendly service by Chloe (nothing was too much trouble, even the change in desserts due to availability, which she prepared herself) and Josh was the same, nothing was too much trouble, along with service which was delivered in a professional manner. The chef Rayon delivered outstanding tasty food in a timely manner, even though there were large family bookings present in the restaurant. “We like to try a different pub each month to try their food. We go on service quality of the food and portion sizes. Let's just say after we shared the chicken starter platter for two. We wish we had not ordered a main as neither of us could move I'm 6 ft and weight around 17st and was stuffed. Food quality and service amazing. We even had to get takeaway boxes We will be back again in a months time when our food haS gone down lol”

“Absolutely fabulous meal, chef deserves a pay rise. The ambience & all the staff were friendly & professional, really felt welcomed & like we're regulars, even though it was our 1st visit. The pub was very clean, including the toilets. Ample parking & plenty of room in the pub itself, so you wasn't sat on top of each other, lovely high ceilings with a pleasant decor. Will definitely be back. Thankyou”

“Lovely restaurant serving Asian fusion style food. I definitely preferred the vibe of being sat upstairs rather than downstairs. Yes the food/drink is a bit pricey for the location however, the food is delicious! Could do with knocking a few quid off the cocktail prices though. I would still recommend going here though as it's definitely one of the nicer, if not the nicest, in the area.”

“I must say the service and the atmosphere of this place is like no other. The staff were welcoming and polite. On to the food. I had the steak and after indulging into the sweet beef cooked to the way god intended it. It felt like my taste buds got together in the tonsil meeting room and all gave each other a high five. “What a great outside terrace, over looking the river. Perfect for a sunny afternoon. The food was really good too. The best chicken burger I have had in a long time. Service via the app was very quick and all staff were really friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone and it was picked up by staff and returned to me swiftly. We will be back soon”

“We came for a family meal of 6 adults and 3 children. To say they are short staffed, the staff were brilliant. Was not waiting long for a drink, our table was ready when we arrived. They brought the children's meals out first which I think is brilliant, as it’s common sense but most places don’t do that. All our food arrived at the same time and every one of us said how lovely the food was. They also table checked us. We haven’t been for about a year due to work commitments but any chance we get we will definitely go again. Again great staff on, thank you so much”

“Went for a family meal as I had heard good things from a few friends and I wasn't disappointed, a few items on the menu were missing but what we had was very nice and the ale selection was top notch, had a good laugh with the manager Lee who took care of us and made us all feel very welcome! We are all looking forward to our next visit.”
