“Used to go here which was an ok meal so I left and tried a few other Chinese takeaways. After about a year I noticed I was leaving food on the plate due to taste and look of food lacking. Today decided to try Shanghai again, not only was it better than the others it was far superior than I remembered, dishes were oozing flavour and the curry sauce is the best I have ever had in 50 years of Chinese food. Wont leave them again.”

“I USED to go to Lee's but not no more after Canton was recommended I gave it a try. Not only is it very good value for money but the food is of great quality. I don't have anything negative to say. The food arrived hot and early. Order was all correct, portions are good and the quality is very good, not too mention the staff are very friendly. Easily my new favourite in Bedford, can highly recommend. Ps the chips are the best I have ever had from any Chinese.”

If you have to wait a few minutes at times its because he is so popular. A very nice family run restaurant. Everywhere else is second best in my view.”

The servings were more than ample, had to get some out into take away containers as we couldn't eat it all. Over all the price was average £20 per head including drinks.
