The park also includes a lighthouse tower that offers views of the Atlantic Ocean. Please note that there are no public restrooms at this location. The Village is planning a Coastal Storm Damage Reduction project for 2025 to protect the island from erosion. Additionally, Bald Head Island has been designated as a Bee City USA, committing to protecting pollinator habitat and implementing bee-safe pest management. Various projects and initiatives are ongoing on the island, including shoreline protection projects and monitoring for emerging contaminants in the drinking water supply.

The Bald Head Island Dog Park is a public park located at 230 North Bald Head Wynd in Bald Head Island, North Carolina, United States. The park is one of four public parks owned and maintained by the Village, offering recreational amenities for both residents and visitors.
