“The food was amazing the interior was decorated with impeccable taste. The young ladies serving where so lovely. They where trying their best. Only thing I didn't like was hearing management snap at them for standing around,they are young the are learning the restaurant was not full so the couldn't really do anything. I feel that good management leads to happier motivated staff it was the only disappointment personally for me.”

“The food here is fantastic. Huge quantities and great quality for a good price. We were also very impressed with how well they have followed covid restrictions. The tables are properly spaced apart with open windows. We haven't really been eating indoors at restaurants yet but I had no concerns eating here. Staff were polite and very helpful. When we took the baby outside to get him to sleep, they offered to keep my husband's food warm until he returned. Would love to come again!”

“My wife and I called for afternoon tea. Polite, friendly service. We had to wait a few minutes before our table was ready. When the food came, wow. Great selection of desserts with our meal. Sandwiches were delicious and the scones were still warm arriving. The tray bake selection was great. Service quick and cheerful and price unbelievable. £29 between us, fantastic value”

“I had 2 dogs with me so finding somewhere to sit outside in newry is not easy. My first time here and they are very experienced in serving food. The place was spotless. The food hot, tasty and delivered quickly. Condiments clean and well stocked. But the star of the show was the incredibly friendly, efficient and accommodating waitress. She saw I had the dogs and immediately took me a menu, brought all the accoutrements outside to me and informed me my food would not be long. Her service was excellent and it shows she has been doing if for some time and loves it. All done with a smile and graciousness. Thank you. We will be back.”

“This is the best cafe in Newcastle! Food is delicious, in all the years I've been visiting I've never had a bad meal. I can especially recommend the French Toast Stack or the Full Fry. Their sandwiches and toasties are really fantastic and they do an excellent Cappuccino too. It's always busy, which is a great sign for how popular it is!! Worth waiting for a table!”
