Katonah Museum of Art

"The Katonah Museum of Art while showcasing beautiful exhibits, is quite small. It’s a great find if you happen to already be in the area, but doesn’t have enough to warrant a full day’s visit. I happened to go on a rainy Saturday when admission was free, I think for a community day, but I can’t say that I would readily pay the normal $12 admission price—not when the whole tour could be finished in under 45 minutes. “Stories of Syria’s Textiles” was on display and some of the pieces were simply breathtaking. I would have appreciated more direction as to the order of what rooms to visit. Employees seemed cordial enough, but more engagement regarding the pieces would have been nice, especially given how small the museum is. Overall, it was a nice local spot to experience, but I was left wanting more."

"The Katonah Museum Of Art is a prominent museum based in Katonah, New York. In August of 2023, I brought and treated my wife and myself for a visit to the museum and we very much enjoyed our experience there. When visiting the museum, my wife and I viewed the Wu Chi-Tsung: Synchronicity, which features the artwork of Wu, a highly successful Taiwanese artist. Both my wife and I were highly captivated by Wu’s mountain water landscape paintings. When viewing the artwork, one could see its striking resemblance to mountains on the one end while as seeing a resemblance to expansive ocean waves. This artwork was indeed stunning and viewers will be impressed with the intricate details. If you enjoy viewing art, my wife and I highly recommend a visit to the Katonah Museum Of Art!!!"

"Very small (4 rooms and a courtyard), but the exhibits were memorable and well-curated. Certainly worth checking out if you’re spending the day in Katonah."

"Very unusual experience, not too small, not too large, you will need 30 min approx here, depending if you like it but it’s for those who has a great imagination, not straight forward kinda people). Upside Down world is found here. Read. Not posting all pictures because you have to see it yourself too. Kids will have a room to play here, outdoor garden has tables to sit down and eat among giant trees. Students have discounts) They have different exhibitions so perhaps you will see different kind of works. Dali, Miro, Bosch works were there too, unexpectedly."

"Very interesting and unusual museum. Small,but has a lot. Was very impressed with it. Learned about Emma Lazarus and New Colossus poem about Stature of Liberty. Very interesting small exhibit about it.Also like Cladogram exhibit. Definetly will come back for new upkoming events."
