Originally donated to the Town of Hillsdale after World War II, the park serves as a memorial for veterans from Hillsdale who served in both World Wars, Korea, and Vietnam, with an expanded memorial dedicated in November 2009. Hillsdale Hamlet Park is a vibrant hub for community events and activities. Over the years, it has hosted town celebrations, summer youth programs, softball games, and festive Egg Hunts.
