"I consider myself so lucky to have been surgically treated for my detached retina by Dr. Rosenblatt. I was naturally concerned when my ophthalmic surgeon referred me to the VRC practice as an emergency and then the retinal specialist Dr. Lin told me I needed to have surgery the next day, which meant cancellation of our trip to South America. I did not meet Dr. Rosenblatt until the afternoon of the surgery, when I was slotted as an emergency as the final patient on his surgical roster that day, nervous to say the least. Dr. Rosenblatt's excellent manner, explanation and expertise were all amazing. Being a retired hospital VP, I have always had the luxury of choosing from the best people in my system, most of whom I knew personally, but I didn't have that luxury this time and had to go strictly on trust. Dr. Rosenblatt made that very easy and didn't rush, encouraged questions, and wanted me to be okay with the procedure, which was a bit complex. The surgery went well and now that I have seen him for a post-surgical consultation, I am even more impressed. I am very grateful that I am his patient!"
