"Clean, well stocked and well priced. What stands out for me are the excellent fresh Ciabatta rolls and that the man working at the deli on the afternoon of Wednesday the 7th of December (23) made me the best Pastrami sandwhich I've ever had. He told me he's been doing it for 20 years and I'm going back for more."
"Unfortunately, despite the obvious fresh stock you’d expect from being thanksgiving season, just bought ground beef with a sell by date for three days from now and it was all brown inside. Serious health hazard especially during the holidays. I wouldn’t recommend buying meat here. Not sure if they’re mixing in older meat with fresh meat, but the meat was still brown even after replacing my purchase with what the manager said was ‘more pink’ on the outside."

"Foodtown of Morningside Heights is a great supermarket. Their vegetables and fruits sections has a good variety, and good quality. Also a fairly good selection of ecologically grown vegetables. They have high quality meats and cheese, also a small selection of ready made dinners, salads and sandwiches. Nice people working there."
