The rehabilitation project, initiated in 2018, focused on the vital gatehouses that regulate the flow of water in and out of the reservoir. Improvements included refurbishing Gatehouses No. 5 and No. 7, cleaning and repairing brick facades, installing new security systems, and replacing the roof of Gatehouse No. 7.
