Welcome to CFJ Park Carousel, a cherished gem located at 98 CFJ Boulevard, Johnson City, New York. This historic park, established in 1923, was named in honor of Charles F. Johnson and was designed for the enjoyment of the Endicott-Johnson employees and the local community. At the heart of the park is the magnificent carousel, a generous gift from George F. Johnson to the children of Johnson City. As one of only 19 remaining Allan Herschell Carousels in the world, our carousel is a testament to timeless craftsmanship, featuring 72 beautifully hand-carved wooden horses known as "jumpers." The park is a vibrant community hub, offering a range of recreational facilities including a spray park, little league and softball fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, playground equipment, and three picnic pavilions. Restroom facilities are also available for your convenience. The carousel and spray park operate daily from 12 PM to 6 PM, weather permitting, from the 4th of July through Labor Day weekend.

This interactive feature enables families and loved ones to post tributes, upload images, and share detailed timelines of military service and achievements, along with biographical information and historical documents.

As one of the largest national cemeteries in the United States, Calverton serves as a resting place for those who have served our nation with distinction. Established in 1978 on a 902-acre tract of land, the cemetery was created to meet the needs of the greater New York area, home to nearly three million veterans and their families. Calverton National Cemetery offers a serene and respectful environment for families to honor their loved ones. The cemetery accommodates casketed burials, in-ground interment of cremains, and placement in columbaria. An ossuary is also available for those who choose this option. The Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) digital platform allows families and friends to share tributes, photos, and stories, preserving the legacy of nearly 10 million veterans.
