Old Stone House of Brooklyn
The Old Stone House of Brooklyn is a historic museum and tourist attraction located at 336 3rd Street in New York, United States. The institution is open for walk-in visitation on Fridays through Sundays from Noon to 4 pm. The first floor and public restrooms are fully accessible, while the second floor Great Room can be accessed by short flights of stairs. Masks are optional inside the house, and field trips for school educators can be booked by contacting the institution. The Old Stone House is currently hosting an exhibit called "State of The Nation: A BIPOC Artist Perspective" in partnership with Ma's House & BIPOC Art Studio, Inc. The institution also offers a Tool Lending Library in partnership with Garden Train. Civic engagement resources are available, and various events and workshops are held at the Old Stone House, such as film screenings, virtual exhibition tours, and meditation workshops. Visitors can also sign up for the weekly eblast to receive information on upcoming programs and events. Donations are welcome to support the institution's gardens, community programs, and recreational facilities at Washington Park.
