"This place is BIZARRE. First unless you are Chinese don't expect to get any assistance when needed. I don't know if it is because they all don't speak English or they simply don't give a hoot about none Chinese particularly if you are black. 2nd, the seafood section is literally like a "wet market" were can see live bullfrogs in containers, turtles. Things I thought were illegal in NYC. Other than that you pretty much can find any Chinese food products."

"I have shopped at this grocery store many times despite a handful of bad experiences but the customer service I received today has made me decide to not shop here anymore. The cashier stationed closest to the entrance is so rude and unprofessional. I have witnessed her arguing with a customer, yelling at him, even though the customer was not raising his voice. He asked calmly to speak with a manager but she kept saying “no, no, no” and began gesturing to help the next customer. I’ve gone to her to pay for my groceries many times in the past with no problems until today. She wouldn’t speak with us calmly. She kept saying “no” to anything we said - just absolutely refusing to be of any help. We left. Besides the customer service, the groceries here are also not fresh. Sometimes the packaged raw chicken thighs and breasts have a foul smell. Each time I’ve bought any berries and refrigerated them for more than a day, they would grow mold. Currently, the pineapples out on display are all old and dry, wilting away. If you take a look at the ginger, onion and shallots, you’ll see mold growing on them. The store doesn’t even bother with getting rid of any of these items that have gone bad. If you go tomorrow or any other day, I can guarantee that you’ll find something with mold on it. This store would benefit from (1) getting rid of that cashier and (2) making sure the groceries are fresh and without mold."

"This place has a decent selection of items with reasonable prices. However, the management can certainly be more diligent in up keeping the store. The vegetable section has slippery floor; meat and fish sections have dirty water everywhere. It is relatively new on Bay Parkway but it is already looking quite run down. The shared parking lot across the street is definitely a big help."
