"Graduated in 1993 even though we had some issues, school always good certain people give it a bad name, I appreciate Erasmus for my education I went to class I learned and carried the knowledge deeper. Erasmus always have a special place in my heart."
"I love erasmus hall I am past student of this lovely school we celebrate our bicentennial while I was attending big up to my teachers ..cause I graduated with honors and a member of the arista society..way up.."
"This school has been around for years. Eramus Hall High has educated many African Americans predominantly because it is located in an African American neighbourhood. Eramus Hall use to be mentioned with the elite. This school is still in the leagues of great high schools but it takes work. The first step is to stop the negativity and create solutions. If you see a problem, show up to the table with a solution. Progress requires growth which means putting in work. A school without the support of the neighborhood will become a failing school, i.e. Exhibit A. There's work to do so lets begin. #GoForthTriumphantly"
"I WENT TO ERASMUS FROM 1943 -1947. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I WAS A MEMBER OF THE LEADER'S CLUB & WAS NAMED "GIRL ATHLETE" IN MY SR. YEAR. WHAT AN HONOR, AS I EXCELLED IN 4 SPORTS. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. AFTER GRADUATION & THE WONDERFUL ADVICE FROM MY ADVISOR MRS. HALPIN. I WENT TO 3 YEARS OF NURSING SCHOOL. ERASMUS GAVE ME GREAT PRINCPALS TO GEAR MY LIFE WITH & THEY STUCK. I WAS A NURSE FOR 50 YEARS . RETIRED IN 1997. HAVE LIVED I N CALIFORNIA FOR THE PAST 54 YEARS. LOVE IT HERE IN VENTURA.BY THE SEA."
"Before it became what it is now, when I attended back in the late 70's it was all one school. They had alot of pride about their sports teams. We even had a fencing team. Several of my old neighbors growing up also attended, some I use to take the school bus with and one of my future brother in laws.Back then, the guidence councilers cared and one teacher who tried to encourage me to"stay in school". I dropped out, joined the army and completed a 22 year career while in.I now live out of NYC and only visit once a year but Erasmus Hall will always be"my school.."
