"A fantastic transfomative black box theater space that host a variety of new age shows. They have an upper balcony in addition to the house seats. Word Sound Power and Teknopolis were two of my favorite shows."

"Not the biggest screens but a really fun place to watch a moive. Sunday evenings are on the empty side and make for a great experience. Movies are well curated as well. You can trust their selection. Perfect for dates. Not many dinner options nearby, but that can also be a good thing."

"It is a historic multi-arts center featuring a stunning array of films, HD Met screenings, live performances, etc. The seats in some of the theaters, however, are as close and uncomfortable as those on a budget airline. Even sitting on an aisle is difficult as the seats are so narrow that one can not easily turn to swing one's legs to the side. Unless you are no more than 5'10" or so, you could be in for a rough experience. People have grown taller since the 5'6" average height at the time of the 1906 opening. Revenue considerations notwithstanding, adjustments might be in order."

"Fun place to do a lot. I come mostly for films but I’ve also heard some great music here. Nice staff, drinks of all kinds available, and good vibes in the crowd. Impressed with the kinds of stuff they curate. I recently saw a showing of three rare James Baldwin films and was blown away. BAM is the best of Brooklyn."
