At Gateway Park, we manage a variety of activities and events, maintain lush gardens, advocate for safe playgrounds, and work to preserve the rich history of our parks. Our efforts are supported by a passionate network of community volunteers across 29 member parks. Every year, hundreds of residents come together for National Make A Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-day service events nationwide. In Fall 2021, over 16,000 tulip, daffodil, and allium bulbs were planted by Jersey City residents as part of the #JCBigDig initiative.
