"I saw a lot of negative reviews regarding the rudeness of the staff and I regret to admit but I encountered given not so friendly, welcoming answers. I've asked for information regarding a 1 bedroom and Selena was responding but she kept asking if that can work after every answer she gave. I'm at the stage that I wanted to see if the numbers and if they work I'd see a unit. However, when it came down to scheduling a meeting she was didn't respond. (going on 5 days now) Not even an automatic email if she's on vacation. I don't understand the logic, you want someone to do business with you or not? I'm in sales and I know how to treat clients and potential clients. Quality is more than Quantity. The apartment can be more affordable but then I'll be dealing with staff like this? Thank you but no thank you."
"10/10 Recommend living at Wayne Village. The grounds are maintained very well (prompt snow removal, fixing cracked sidewalks, filling potholes, pool maintained nicely, pet waste bags always re-filled, etc). Parking is never an issue. There are ample spaces in the lots + street parking. The apartment itself is fantastic- newly renovated with stainless steel appliances, laundry in unit, heat/hot water included, and maintenance always came within 24 hours (snaking tub drain, replacing ceiling fan, etc). I’ve never had any issue with maintenance or management being unresponsive or unfriendly. The complex manager, Cathy, is always super friendly, responsive (returns calls/emails within 24 hours), and up to date on what’s going on in the complex and willing to help. I had a few noise issues with my downstairs neighbors and after contacting the office, the issues were resolved. Overall, the other residents are very on friendly and courteous. The dog park + pool are convenient, well kept, and not overly busy. There are 3 brand new grocery stores (ShopRite, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods) right by the complex as well. Again, I highly recommend Wayne Village to anyone looking for an upscale, pet-friendly apartment!"
"Long time resident. The location is superb, with a bus that stops right in front of my building for New York City. Supermarkets and amenities are close by. Occasional issues with noisy neighbors. Some maintenance requests take days or weeks to fill if they are not an emergency. The rent is extremely high. I would concur with other posts which complain about the lack of parking. I am one person in a single apartment, and am not guaranteed a parking spot when I return home from work after 7pm. I often have to park over 2000 feet away from my building. I speculate this is due to the fact that the units house more people than they should, each person with their own respective car. Whether Management knows or cares to do anything about the "overcrowding" issue is unknown. I've written Management to suggest numbered parking but their silence was deafening. (Updated May 2019) Management never got back to me on this issue despite the response below. In the meantime, for the first time in nine years, I began getting noise violations from a crazy tenant they moved in above me. The walls are paper thin and apparently this tenant had sonar. After she left, I got the opposite extreme: a tenant whose LARGE dog races above me daily...to say nothing of the barking. Under new management, Wayne Village has become VERY dog friendly. It's like living in a kennel. Because the buildings are old, they require frequent maintenance. So you will get frequent visits from maintenance, helping themselves into your unit whenever to fix some emergency or other. It will be like having an extra roommate! For all of these reasons, I needed to go. To sum up: Good points: 1) Superb location Bad points: 1) Paper thin walls 2) No assigned parking / lack of parking' 3) You pay extra for the amenities they brag about: pool, gym, garage, etc. 4) New management since 2017 is lousy 5) Hope you like LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of DOGS!!!! 6) Constant intrusions from maintenance"
"My family and I have been very happy living in Wayne Village. The pool and grounds are neatly kept. Recently there have been several social events that were fun both myself and children. The maintenance staff is both knowledgeable and quick with repairs. Kathy and Lisa in the office are friendly, efficient and genuinely concerned with any issues that may arise."
"I have lived here for almost two years. Lisa and Cathy from the management company have always been responsive and helpful for all of my issues. The pool and gym are very enjoyable and I love my neighbors. While I might have some minor complaints(parking, cost of rent), overall I am very happy here."
