Welcome to the New York Society of Model Engineers, a cherished institution dedicated to the fascinating world of model railroading and the rich history of American railroads. Located at 341 Hoboken Road, Carlstadt, New Jersey, our museum offers a captivating glimpse into the intricate artistry of model engineering. Founded in 1926 in New York City, the Society has a storied history of passion and dedication. After several relocations, we found our permanent home in Carlstadt in the mid-1950s. Here, we proudly showcase two exquisite operating model railroad displays: The Union Connecting, featuring two-rail O-Scale (1/4″ to the foot), and The Union, Hoboken, and Overland, showcasing HO scale (1/8″ to the foot).

The United Alliance of Shotokan Karatedo is a premier health institution located at 300 Washington Avenue in Carlstadt, New Jersey, United States. Many of our Masters have trained in Korea and have excelled in international competitions. Whether you are looking to rent space for pick-up soccer, leagues, tournaments, baseball, ultimate frisbee, touch football, cricket, or any other sporting event, we have you covered. Our facility is perfect for indoor training during the winter months. With three fields available for rental, including two full-sized fields and a smaller field, we can accommodate a variety of activities. Restrooms are conveniently located on-site, and ample parking is available. We operate on a first come, first serve basis and are open for rental all year round.
