This unique tourist attraction is listed on the National Park Registry of Historical Landmarks and is situated in Josephine Harron Park. Originally built as the Elephant Bazaar by James Lafferty, Lucy was later renamed and turned into a tavern by Sophia Gertzen. The Gertzens eventually donated Lucy to the Save Lucy Committee, Inc., leading to her restoration and designation as a National Historic Landmark.
