From June 26 to August 14, the park hosts outdoor concerts at the Wayne Municipal Complex on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. The Department of Parks and Recreation, established in 1966, is organized into three areas: the Historical Commission, Division of Parks & Forestry, and Division of Recreation. The Historical Commission works to preserve the history of the community, while the Division of Parks & Forestry maintains over 1800 acres of parkland, including sports facilities and green spaces.
