Holiday Inn Budd Lake - Rockaway Area, an IHG Hotel

"We stayed there for 2 nights for a weeding. It was okay but maybe a little expensive for what you get. But there are not a lot of other options in the area. There was a vent-like noise in the room that bothered us at night. Otherwise the beds were comfortable, room seemed clean but a bottle of water in the room would have been appreciated."

"My husband and I booked this hotel for our room block for our wedding and wow did they deliver! We had 4 shuttles back and forth from the hotel that ran perfectly on time. They even kept the bar open late night for our after party and comped our room for the wedding night. Not to mention it’s pet friendly! I worked with Tanya and she was really great. Everything went perfectly here!"

"We booked this hotel for our wedding like so many others. I was very scared to do so because of the reviews, but due to its size and location we didn’t really have any other choice. The rooms are definitely outdated, but they were nice enough for 1-2 nights. The only issue we had was getting in touch with the head sales rep who was responsible for organizing the rooms blocks, transportation, and breakfast. The sales rep wouldn’t answer phone calls or emails for 3+ weeks. The district manager was also 0 help when we were trying to get answers. When we FINALLY received a response there was no apology, just attitude for me not understanding how busy her job is… It was beyond unprofessional and I wouldn’t trust her to do anything for me ever again. They have a SEVERE lack of customer service. If you are a bride and groom booking here make sure you stay on top of everything because they will drop the ball"

"My wife and I booked a block of rooms for our wedding. The hotel lacked serious communication. The general manager, Don, was awful to deal with. We almost did not get the free shuttle with our block because they never told us the date in which our block of rooms was no longer guaranteed (one month prior to wedding). We were only provided with half of the contract which contained that information. In addition, two key family members (Aunt and Grandfather) were put on the wrong shuttle and brought to the wrong venue. They even confirmed with the driver prior to departure. The rooms were decently clean and the rehearsal dinner was nice. Other than that, I would not recommend this hotel for your wedding or large event."

"We just had our son's wedding in the area and booked a room block at the Holiday Inn. From our first encounter 14 months earlier to the day of the wedding, we found the staff responsive and extremely helpful. Shout out to Tanya (director of sales), who helped us thru each step in the process. We thought our suite was wonderful. I asked our guests what they thought of the hotel, and all said the rooms were clean, air conditioners quiet, and beds extremely comfortable. We also took advantage of their catering services for a private hot breakfast the morning after. The food and service were excellent. The hotel has a nice pool, which I enjoyed the night before the wedding and a nice bar, which had a good crowd from other weddings staying at the hotel, for the after-party. I highly recommend the hotel."
