Dr. Desai's impressive academic journey began with her graduating summa cum laude from the prestigious seven-year BS/MD Program at The College of New Jersey. She earned her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where she also completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology. Her expertise was further honed during a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the UC Davis Health Eye Center, University of California, where she also mentored budding medical students.
