At the heart of our center is Dr. Farghal Ali, a highly respected and educated Imam. Dr. Ali holds a Doctorate titled "The Stories in the Quran and Its Impact on Dawaa in the Islamic Culture" (2000) and a Master's degree titled "The Approach of Dialogue in the Holy Quran and Its Impact on Da3owa" (1996). His scholarly expertise and compassionate leadership guide our community in spiritual growth and understanding.
In addition to regular services, the Islamic Center of Jersey City is proud to be associated with Alghazaly School and offers a dynamic summer camp program. We are also connected with the Masjid Awliya of Allah located at 327 West 36th Street, New York, Manhattan, further enriching our community ties and outreach.

"My brother and I were looking to fulfill our Asr prayer, and this was the closest Masjid to us. Elhamdulillah, we were witnesses to 4 young men taking Shahadah."
"Sisters went into a small room on first floor off to the side. Men were on first floor and 3rd. There were directional signs in Arabic and English. Drinks and things were available. The khutbah was only in Arabic unfortunately, which was surprising being that it was in an Islamic school and the area was predominately English-speaking. Therefore I will not be attending jummah there again."

"It was nice!!! the prayer area is upstairs 4 fights of stairs. to get to the woman’s area you have to walk through the men’s area to the back Most left door and go upstairs to the woman’s area. they also have a bathroom upstairs for the women. There’s also is a school it is very nice we are happy to be able to have a place to pray while visiting! there are masjids everywhere here!"
