"Well, unfortunately, in less than 24 hours I had to cancel my flight due to some unforeseen circumstances. I'm not going to lie, I was a bit nervous about making the call. I was pleasantly surprised with how fast I was able to speak with someone. Levi was friendly, understanding, and addressed my needs as I had hoped. If I had booked through an airline and had to make the same cancellation I'd probably still be on the phone waiting. Would I recommend Crystal Travel over booking directly with the airline? "Hello, I don’t typically leave reviews but I felt that I need to leave a review based on some of the skepticism and negative comments that were being left. Here is my experience. I went on Google flights, which I normally do because they source out the best prices and deals on flights. I searched up tickets from LAX to Heathrow and Crystal Travel was the best price provided. I went ahead and booked as normal and provided all the information needed to get my tickets. Shortly after booking I received a call from the Crystal Travel customer service department to confirm my booking and to inform me of next steps. This part was new to me as I have never been contacted by phone to confirm my booking. Where I became skeptical was when the representative asked me to rate their service or experience via an email link as I had not even gone on my trip yet. The representative said “Have you received the link, if so, I’ll wait on the phone while you rate our service”. I clicked on the link and it asked me to sign into my Google account. This concerned me because I thought maybe they were trying to steal my information. I then went and started reading some of the reviews and there were a lot of horror stories on there which made me worry that I may lose out on my tickets and money. I did the next thing I could do and that’s call the airline directly and confirm that the tickets were reserved and to see if there was any issues. The airline representative was extremely helpful and reassured me that the reservation was good and active. I decided to play it out and check daily that my tickets hadn’t been canceled for some reason. They were not. I went on my trip and came back with no issues. I didn’t want to rate anything until now just so that I can accurately rate their service. With all that being said, I have to give Crystal Travel a great rating!!! They had the best price and I had no issues at all! Although I’m not used to receiving a phone call to confirm my booking, I think it was a nice touch on their part to reassure us that everything was good to go for my trip. If I had the opportunity to book again, I would 100% do it!! I highly recommend Crystal Travel and I hope this may calm some of you after reading other reviews. My trip was January 1 2024- January 10, 2024!"
