"My husband, myself, and our friends and neighbors couldn't be more disappointed and saddened about the unprofessionalism and poor practices after CentralWest Healthcare was bought out and "corporatized" by Novus Health. After moving to central county from south city, my husband and I were willing to drive to the location--even considering that the premises badly needed proper maintenance--in order to support the previous owner's mission of providing necessary resources for the Central West End community. Our values no longer align with this place of business and we will continue to share our experience with our friends and colleagues in the hopes that perhaps something there will change. After an unbelievably bizarre recent visit left me wondering "what the heck just happened," "how did this happen," and "how do we make this right," I tried to present the truth of the experience to Novus Health and find a way to proceed, but the two staff members I spoke with were too busy or not interested in addressing the facts and hung up on me before I could finish relaying my experience. We're considering our options in figuring out a way forward in properly handling what transpired during my recent experience. The behavior, verbal communication, flawed practices of the staff--as well as the falsehoods and dangerous recommendations relayed to me--simply must be addressed in the right way. I am happy to speak directly with the supervisory medical doctor about the situation, but I was told last week that he does not return calls."
