Corwin S. Ruge Memorial Park
Corwin S. Ruge Memorial Park, located at 501 South Elm Avenue in Wright City, Missouri, is a beautiful park developed through a grant from the Department of Natural Resources and donations from the community. This park is the perfect place for outdoor activities, with lighted fields for baseball, softball, T-ball, and soccer, as well as a basketball court, playgrounds, pavilions, picnic areas, and a walking trail. The park also hosts various events throughout the year, including youth sports programs and community gatherings. Adjacent to Corwin S. Ruge Memorial Park is Diekroeger Bros. Park, the oldest park in Warren County. This seven-acre park features a large pavilion, restrooms, a playground, and plenty of shady picnic areas. Diekroeger Bros. Park is home to the Wil Heiliger Activity Building, where the Parks Department is located. The Activity Building is available for rent for special occasions and meetings, and it also hosts special classes throughout the year.

Diekroeger Bros. Park is a vibrant hub for community events, hosting popular happenings such as Concerts in the Park, Farmer’s Market, Trunk or Treat, Christmas Parade, and Breakfast with Santa. Additionally, the Wil Heiliger Activity Building, located within the park, serves as the headquarters for the Parks Department and is available for rent for special occasions and meetings.
