About the Business

Diekroeger Brothers Park

Welcome to Diekroeger Brothers Park, a cherished landmark in Wright City, Missouri. Conveniently located at 13410 East Veterans Memorial Parkway, our park offers a perfect retreat for families, friends, and community gatherings. As the oldest park in Warren County, Diekroeger Bros. Park is steeped in history, having been established on the original county fairgrounds. This seven-acre oasis features a large pavilion equipped with electricity, restrooms, a playground, and numerous shaded picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and recreation.

Diekroeger Bros. Park is a vibrant hub for community events, hosting popular happenings such as Concerts in the Park, Farmer’s Market, Trunk or Treat, Christmas Parade, and Breakfast with Santa. Additionally, the Wil Heiliger Activity Building, located within the park, serves as the headquarters for the Parks Department and is available for rent for special occasions and meetings. Throughout the year, a variety of special classes are offered, details of which can be found in our Park Brochure.

Adjacent to Diekroeger Bros. Park is Corwin S. Ruge Memorial Park, developed with the support of the Department of Natural Resources and the Wright City Community. Situated at 501 South Elm Street, Ruge Park is the heart of youth sports in the city, featuring lighted fields for baseball, softball, T-ball, and soccer, as well as a basketball court, playgrounds, pavilions, picnic areas, and a walking trail.

Join us for our exciting events, including the ELVIS Live Music & Entertainment nights at the Diekroeger Park Pavilion, where you can enjoy live performances and participate in our best-dressed contest.

For more information on our facilities, events, or to check availability, please refer to our Event Calendar. The Park Board meets monthly at the Wil Heiliger Activity Building, and the public is warmly invited to attend.

We look forward to welcoming you to Diekroeger Brothers Park, where community spirit and recreation come alive. For inquiries, contact us at 636-745-2804.

"The use of the Rec center was wonderful. It was only a few hundred dollars to rent for 6 hours. After our initial clean up, they sent someone to mop and rearrange the tables back to their original spots. It was nice."
