"We currently have our second child enrolled at the Clay Center for daycare. We have a 3 yr old and a 9yr old. The oldest started as an infant and stayed at the center until she went to Kindergarten. Our 3yr old started at the center as an infant as well. Nothing is ever perfect, especially when you have to send your kids to daycare...but I feel that the Clay Center has been amazing. I have felt at ease with leaving my kids there. I feel they provide the level of love and support for the children that any parent is looking for in a day care. I really like that they have an strong educational aspect to their program that promotes learning in a fun way. Sometimes I am really surprised at what my 3yr old comes home talking about. They really are about enriching the children. I also am impressed by the structure and routine that provides a solid foundation for kids to feel secure and calm. Kids know what to expect. I think this also allows for healthy learning environment. One of the things that is nice about the center is they are always trying to improve the overall experience. The current director (Jodi Jordan) has been amazing at listening to any parent concerns and truly trying to address areas that could use improvement. Communication was probably the one thing that has been the biggest weakness when we initially started. Communication about what's happening at the center, communication about transitioning to the next level...we definitely felt a little lost time and time again. However, that has changed dramatically over the years and even more so with the current director. For any parent that is researching daycare centers this is one you absolutely must consider. It will be well worth your time!!"
