Best Western Plus Washington Hotel

"We were very comfortable and the price was reasonable. The only thing that kept us from giving 5 stars across the board is that the breakfast was only from 6-9am. All of the other BWs we’ve stayed at serve until 10am. We were not up and dressed in time to partake."

"We normally stay at Marriott or Drury Inns but this was the only hotel close to the hospital. People that state the hotel has a moldy smell simple have a confusion between chlorinated water and mold. I worked many years as a lifeguard in a YMCA so that smell is super chlorinated water from the pool. The ventilation system is probably not the greatest but it isn’t mold. I’m deathly allergic to mold. The cost was a little high compared to Drury Inns and Marriott Hotels and Suites but the room was adequate and clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For the price, they should supply a dinner/ drink hour to compensate for some of the deficiencies. The gym was excellent and so was the pool. NO BED BUGS! I was expecting a little more from a Best Western Plus but it met my standards."

"While they did immediately return our money and the staff was very pleasant, it doesn’t change the fact that I was unable to sleep due to constant itching caused by bed bugs. I was thinking, because I have nerve issues, the itching may have been caused by that, but when I went into the bathroom, my fiancé yelled to me saying she found bugs. After examining the bedspread we found bed bugs crawling over the mattress and sheets. So at 2 o’clock in the morning, we were forced to gather all our things and drive all the way home so we could try to quarantine the items we brought and get everything washed, so we didn’t bring them into our home. The facility itself seemed clean enough, and the reviews seem good, so we didn’t think twice about staying here but we will not be staying here again."

"Good location. Helpful staff. Some rooms and hallway under repair. Treadmill wasn’t functional and nothing available to wipe down exercise equipment. Room was good sized and clean with a comfortable bed. Noise between rooms was fairly muted. Breakfast was good and tended to throughout the morning. Lower level with the pool would be very convenient for families with younger kids to stay."

"The is a fabulous hotel - clean, very comfortable beds, great hot breakfast (especially the baby waffles & bacon)! We hosted a wedding in Augusta and booked a block of rooms during one of their busiest weekends. Even with a full hotel our every need was still met and all the staff were very courteous and helpful. Our family & guests raved about the accommodations. The location is prime, near shopping and food. We had amazing wings at The Creek and made a very nearby Target run. Christy, the event planner, is so friendly & professional and a joy to plan with. She knows her stuff on weddings and she provided a wealth of knowledge that calmed my nerves and made a big difference on our son’s special day. She is solution focused and calm & was reassuring through the planning and through the weekend event. She is truly gifted at what she does and is incredibly resourceful in meeting every need. Our event was 1000% smoother and more stress free because of her help!"
