Hoefel Haus B&B and Bike Hostel

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a great choice! The room was very comfortable with much attention to detail and the food was delicious. The hosts were so hospitable and hooked us up with connections for things we wanted to do in Washington. Once we were at the B&B we wanted to stay longer and take advantage of all the relaxing spaces they have set up around the house and the grounds. We will be back."

"Folks, we stayed here as a Valentine's treat and you're going to LOVE this BnB! Peggy and Kurt know how to love people. Peggy's nursing background and Kurt's food management experience merge with big love and you get the best BnB hands-down. We stayed in the automobile room with luxury king size sleep number bed, soaking tub, shower, robes, AND the tile floors are heated!!! The next morning Kurt cooked up a hearty breakfast that was completely authentic, homemade, and met my dietary needs. Peggy made sure everything was perfect for us. We stayed until checkout and took advantage of a quiet place to study in the 2nd floor library, equipped with coffee maker. Definitely keeping this one on our getaway check list!"

"Having never stayed in a B&B I didn't know what to expect, but I'm confident that we are now sufficiently ruined for any future B&Bs. Our experience there blew any of our expectations out of the water. Kurt and Peggy were EXCELLENT hosts; they were warm and gregarious and we genuinely enjoyed getting to know them. Not only was the home the epitome of comfort, but Kurt and Peggy went above and beyond to give us an enjoyable experience including lending us their own personal bikes, cooking delicious meals (we paid extra to have Kurt cook us dinner and 10/10 do recommend), and being an absolute goldmine of information about the best things to do and see in and around Washington. We are already planning our next trip there."

"Our stay at the Hoefel Haus was an excellent experience! Peggy and Kurt are exceptional hosts who made us feel very welcomed and at home. The historic house has lots of character, and our room was very comfortable and updated. The location was perfect for a beautiful 15 minute drive to the wineries. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast with the other guests. It was a fun experience and a memorable part of our trip. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed at the Hoefel House after a long day cycling the Katy Trail. Peggy, who recognized that we were exhausted, was so welcoming. Within minutes it was clear that this was a special B&B operated by special people. Peggy and Kurt recently renovated the house. The cycling decor and original art work are fun and creative. We stayed in the spacious "train" room which has a 4 post Cal King Sleep Number mattress that was super comfortable. We heard about the amazing breakfasts that Kurt prepares on the weekends, but we stayed midweek yet still enjoyed a delicious breakfast to power us through another day riding the Trail. The Hoefel House is everything you hope to experience when you stay at a B&B. Don't miss staying here."
