"I really enjoy the therapy here and have a good rapport with my individual and group therapist. Sometimes I wonder tho if it's worth it given the stress that the billing department puts myself and so many others through. I confirmed that my insurance covers both individual and group therapy and I keep getting random charges for group that literally don't add up and are so inconsistent it's ridiculous. I was also told that my card information was taken off file and it was not. So I had an unexpected charge come out that I didn't even authorize"

"Intake is like jumping through a bunch of tiny hoops. And they don’t even send the form to the right email address. Not worth all the work just to get some help from a “mental health care center”. Thanks for literally nothing."

"Went here for services years ago when it was in Kc,Mo. Overall bad experience. The owner is not a good therapist. The group meetings are one big pity party with strangers. Not effective treatment for people with bpd."

"Takes months to get an appointment. Don’t use if you actually need help. I called and it took for 4 weeks to get initial screening with admin. Then she scheduled my appointment for 4 weeks later with someone. Then a few days before I get an email from an unknown address asking to confirm my appointment. I thought it was spam since I didn’t know the name and didn’t make the appointment. Apparently the person I was scheduled with is no longer an employee. So they put me with a male counselor on a random day. I said in my screening I wanted a female counselor. This place is everything that is wrong with mental health. It shouldn’t take 9 weeks to talk to someone."

"Lilac N KC has been a true blessing to my daughter, myself, and my family as a whole. We have learned so much in our time with them and continue to do so. On top of the great group therapy sessions, we have also found a wonderful therapist for my teenage daughter. It took a long while to find someone that she trusted and connected with and she has 100% found that here at Lilac. My only regret is I wish we had found the center/home sooner. In my daughters words, "I would recommend Lilac 10 out of 10 times!""
