Open to the public 24/7 and free of charge, the Veterans Memorial Walk invites individuals from all walks of life to explore its poignant features. Among the most striking elements is a platoon of cast bronze boots, poised as if in mid-march, symbolizing the perpetual vigilance and dedication of our armed forces. At the foot of the POW/MIA flag, a solitary pair of boots stands guard, accompanied by an eternal flame that burns continuously, serving as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedom we cherish.
Throughout the year, the Walk hosts several public ceremonies, including Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, POW/MIA Remembrance Day, and Veterans Day, providing opportunities for community members to come together in remembrance and gratitude.
