"This hotel was amazing. A great location of the downtown. The rooms were nice, and the lobby had a really fancy and luxury feel to it. It was awesome. Also loved the huge stained glass mosaic above the lobby. The only issue that kind of creeped me out is that we were sandwiched between 2 crumbling, abandoned buildings. Still a great hotel though, worth the extra money."

"I travel a lot for work and am normally underwhelmed with the typical hotel experience, but I have to say that the hotel St. Louis made a huge impression on me. From our friendly check in experience with Sheret, including a complimentary signature cocktail, to the fabulous room, including a wet room shower/tub, tv in the bathroom mirror, bidet toilet seat, a record player with albums on the dresser. They even had a great bourbon selection at the bar, and our bartender Aaron was very knowledgeable. I have stayed at much more expensive hotels and did not have this experience. Marriott should send all of their staff here to train."

"Hotel Saint Louis was a lovely place to stay while in town for a work conference. It is upscale, historical and updated to be modern yet holds true to the beauty of being an older hotel. The hotel is in the center of downtown so it comes with the noise but the advantage is you are within walking distance to so many things nearby. What is even greater than the stay is the excellent customer service, the hotel staff was kind and friendly. I was consistently greeted and conversed with by staff. The restaurant has a great list of spirits and wines to partake in, Wine Wednesday was a hit and the French onion soup was particularly cheese which was quite a delight."

"Our youth group stayed here in July for NAYC & had a great time! The hotel is nice, they have excellent customer service, friendly staff, it always smelt amazing especially in the lobby, it has a nice rooftop swimming pool, amazing views via the roof top, view depends on your room unfortunately, the rooms were nice, had plenty of room & we ended up with 5 & a baby in our room, it was within walking distance to the Event Center where they hosted NAYC, & places to eat & site see, it was just down the road from the Gateway Arch which was spectacular! Overall, I'd say this is a great place to stay. It was a little pricey, though, even splitting it between others, but we understand there was a bid event going on also."

"I don't ever write reviews for hotels, and I stay at a lot of them, but I had to write one for the Hotel Saint Louis. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by Brian at the counter. He was super nice, accommodating and full of joy. Walked into my room and WOW! I was upgraded to a beautiful king suite room. I literally felt special, and it was like I had my own apartment. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bathroom had a bidet! Boy was I pleasantly surprised. After settling in went down to the bar, and had pleasant conversation with ALL the staff, from the male and female bartender on staff (did not get their names, wish I did) to the food runners and waiters. Food and drinks were very good too. I must say this was such a special and well needed pampering for me as I have been traveling from 5:30 am that morning from Florida, and was in St. Louis all day field traveling for work. I had the best night sleep as the bed and pillows were heavenly. Oh and the robe in the closet is a must wear when catching up on emails early morning. I will be back again if I ever am in St. Louis again."
