"For one no one is ever in the office, they will tell you to call but no one ever answers the phone or gets back to you when you leave a voicemail. If you schedule an in person you will not receive an email that reminds you that you have an appointment. So if you have depression, anxiety or if you are a busy college student you probably aren't going to remember that you scheduled an appointment two weeks ago or so, even if you write it down. I'd advice others to seek help at off campus counseling centers or seek help and comfort from friends."
"Student at UMKC. Their appointment policy is not clear, and not built for people with depression or anxiety. You have to show up 30mins early to your appointment or you can't be seen. If you miss an appointment you can set another one up for a month or two. Good luck fitting that into a working students schedule. They can do better."
