"The place is an absolute joke, I got there after ordering tires from Amazon, I actually arrived earlier than my appointment time, I was getting ready to pay when all of sudden they decided to tell me I had to pay an extra $30+ for a rubber garment to be replaced. I then asked where this was stated that there was going to be extra charges. The manager then said he’s not responsible for what Amazon states or doesn’t state. So I said “This is what mechanics do, they try to up-charge for things that aren’t necessary.” He then said “If you’re going to insult me, you can just take your tires and leave.” So I asked “How am I insulting you?” He said “You said mechanics and I’m a mechanic.” So I said “this is how it’s going to be, you’re not going to try to help me out on this charge that wasn’t stated when I bought the tires?” He said “I have a job to do, so you can take the tires and go somewhere else if you want.” So I took my tires and will take my business elsewhere. I was already planning on paying $50 for the install but he was trying to force me to pay for something I know I don’t need + additional labor when he’s already installing the tires! Spare yourself the headache and avoid this place!!"

"I feel ashamed for people who are capable of lying to your own face when you have all the evidence that they are lying to you. This is the case of the Carx manager. I took my car to the Carx in Spring Lake for an oil change and had a coupon that included the tire rotation. After waiting an hour for the service, I see that the bill does not say anything about the rotation of the tires. When I asked the receptionist if they had done the rotation of the tires, she went to the workshop to ask and she told me if they had done the rotation. When I went out to inspect, I realized that the tires had not been rotated. I had made a mark on the front ring of the driver to verify, because I suspected in advance that they would not do it. When I returned to tell them that I thought they had not done the rotation, the receptionist went to the workshop again and this time the manager came out and told me that he had seen how they had done the rotation. When I told him that I had made a mark on the front ring and that the mark was in the same place, he just looked at the ground. Naturally, after he vilely lied to me, I was never going to allow my car to go back into that workshop. I am very sorry for him and for the people who visit this workshop because it is seen that it is custom to lie to their clients. This was my experience and just not coming back is enough for me but take this experience into account when thinking about taking your car to this workshop and take some cautions like I did. In the photos you can see the invoice that does not include the rotation of the tires and the coupon that said it would be included. Also, the mark that had been made to the front ring to verify that the rotation was made that was never done."
