The institution is currently seeking a grant from the State of Michigan, with the hope of receiving it by the end of December 2022 or in the summer of 2023. In order to qualify for this grant, the community is being asked to help raise $90,000. IN/MI Power (AEP) has generously offered to match the first $45,000 raised, leaving only $45,000 to be raised by the end of November.
