"I never have a bad experience in the office. The whole staff treats your fur baby as the #1 patient! Dr. Joe takes his time explaining everything in a way that makes it easy to understand. You can tell that he cares deeply about each animal that comes in his care. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else! Put it this way, I made the mistake of signing up for a certain pet insurance through my job without checking who takes the insurance. Unfortunately, Briarwood was not on the list, but I refuse to take them anywhere else. They also get yoi in right away for any urgent matters. "Dr. Joe Hendricks is wonderful, I would give him ten stars but the ladies who work reception are not very compassionate. I am a client of 11 years, on Friday I rushed my fur baby in with breathing trouble I was ignored, it wasn't until another staff member from the back came up front that we got attention. Upon going to a room the vet tech wanted to ask all kinds of history questions because she didn't know my baby I felt like she was costing my dog her life. By the time Dr Hendricks saw her she was critical. Dr. Hendricks was compassionate but some of the staff don't seem to share in his passion. My baby was suffering horribly with the inability to breathe so decision was made to stop the suffering, Dr. Hendricks was the only one who seemed to care or having sympathy for our loss. UPDATE: Dr. Hendricks contacted us with answers to our questions and concerns. He was very helpful and compassionate in helping us deal with our grief at the loss of our fur baby. Dr. Hendricks was understanding in our concerns to having to answer client history questions before being seen. Our concerns will be looked at by staff to see if there is a better way to handle things. Dr. Hendricks has always taken personal time to check on our baby after any procedure for any changes or concerns we may have had. We believe he has the best interest for all his patients. We thank him for his care, compassion and understanding."

"Really impressed after our first visit! The staff is so kind and helpful. The vet took quite a bit of time to discuss what my cat is going through and our next steps. Felt really heard and seen when talking about symptoms she has been going through and they were so sweet with her, as she gets really scared/shy every time she’s in a vet office. This is definitely my best experience at a veterinary office and we’ll be coming back from here on out"

"Dr. Joe has been taking care of my animals since 2002. I first went there after my neighbor spoke highly of how he treated their Great Dane. My first Dane was anxious about being taken away from me when he needed to go in the back for treatment and they let me go with him. Dr. Joe is kind and compassionate and has always treated my animals with care. When I moved, I tried to change vets but ended up coming back to Dr. Joe. I just got my 4th Dane and will be taking her there too. Dr. Amy and the staff at Briarwood are top notch too. Thank you."
