"My granddaughter tested normally for the Spink5 gene (Netherton’s Syndrome) yet Dr. Swayder seems stuck on that diagnosis to the point other therapies are ruled out. Even though my granddaughter’s symptoms do not even resemble Netherton’s Syndrome. Even her hair is normal (not “bamboo-like”). Beyond frustrating to see this incompetence as she suffers other severe symptoms he ignores."
"I was a little concerned about the reviews, but my main doctor told me he was the best. After visiting several dermatologists, he was the only one who truly listened to us, check properly the scar, took pictures, measurements and gave us diagnostic. ( after 3 years of searching google , I typed the diagnosis and finally find a match with my daughter's scar) He apologize for de delay ( 40 min). He was extremely nice and funny and sweet to my teenager girl. He printed the whole explanation. Yo can tell he is an expert and knowledgeable. I will highly recommend . It is worth the wait."
"I’ve brought my toddler in to see Dr. Shwayder a few times in the last 3 years. He has always showed care and concern for our daughter each time, he’s also fun to be around and a kid at heart! He’s great!"
"I had a very unpleasant appointment with Shwayder, it is extremely rude of him to leave the patient waiting for more then two hours, and the worst of all he didn't even care to apologize. unfortunately, Shwayder only cares to spend time and see patients with higher end insurances, because obviously he gets paid more. Shwayder is after patients with higher insurance to get paid more. He only care about the money not he atients."
"Dr. Shwayder has been thee most wonderful dermatologist that we have seen through my son's 1 year battle with alopecia. (And we have been to 4 others previously) We drove an hour and a half to see him and our first visit he tought me and my son so much about how, why, and what is actually happening with his hair folicles. He spent quite a bit of time with us. Since then I have been in regular contact with him via email (he is super quick in his responses) and he is so helpful! Alopecia has got to be the most frustrating disease to deal with, but Dr. Shwayder has helped us more than we could imagine and has been very patient with all of my questions."
