In addition to hosting varsity sports events, DeVos Fieldhouse also houses the Department of Kinesiology and athletic training program. The 102,000 square foot building features classrooms, a weight-training facility, and a dance studio, providing students with a well-rounded athletic and academic experience.
Wolters Softball Stadium
Wolters Softball Stadium is a state-of-the-art facility located at 207 Fairbanks Avenue in Holland, Michigan, United States. This stadium, built in 2008, can accommodate up to 300 fans and features a patio area perfect for tailgating. The project included the relocation of the field, a permanent outfield fence, stands for fans, a new press box, and dugouts. Named in honor of Karla Hoesch ’73 Wolters and her husband Tom ’73, the stadium pays tribute to Karla's impressive coaching career. Karla served as the head coach of Hope College's softball team for 23 years, overseeing an impressive 1,792 games before retiring at the end of the 2010 season.
