Karner Farm
Karner Farm, located on Halsted Road in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan, is a historic farmstead turned park that is open daily year-round from 8 am to sunset. The park features a barn, community gardens, a gravel parking lot, a seasonal portable restroom, a dog park, and expansive wetlands. The West Bloomfield Dog Park entrance is controlled by a keyless electronic system during specific hours. The community garden at Karner Farm offers 64 plots for growing farm-fresh vegetables, each approximately 450 square feet. Plots are tilled by Memorial Day, and registered gardeners have access 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm, except on Wednesdays when the park is closed for maintenance from 8 am to 11 am.
