Statue of Harriet Tubman

The Statue of Harriet Tubman is located at 213 West Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The renovated Library Park Plaza at YDL-Michigan, where the statue of Harriet Tubman is located, was dedicated in 2006. The park was initiated by the YDL Board of Trustees and features outdoor library programs and a special children's area with book-shaped seating. The plaza also includes a fountain built in 1982 and restored in 2006, as well as a historical marker celebrating Elijah McCoy.
